Welcome
Mental illnesses are real and treatable, and there is help!
Together, we can make a difference! |
A little about usNAMI Ruston strives to improve the lives of persons who are living with a mental health issue and their families. The organization continues to raise awareness about mental illnesses and the importance of mental wellness for all.
NAMI Ruston encourages advocacy, as partners with its local, state, and national organizations. In the past, we have lobbied local and state public officials for vital mental health services for the area. NAMI Ruston also encourages its members to participate in research studies. In the past, two of our members participated in a national, longitudinal study of twins. Other members are actively participating in research on the newest medications. |
SupportThe NAMI Ruston Executive Director provides emotional support, recommendations for medical professionals, and general information to families, peers/consumers, and the community.
If you are residing in or out of the service area, or concerned family members locally or throughout the country, you may seek support.
